Kapa'a Middle School

Enrollment & Registration

Students coming from feeder elementary schools of Hanalei, Kilauea, Kapa’a, King Kaumuali’i should be registered automatically. All other students need to enroll with the Registrar. 

 

Students transferring from a public or private school must withdraw from their previous school before enrolling at Kapa’a Middle School. You will need to bring the following documents to register your student: 

  • Your child’s birth certificate 
  • Your child’s health and immunization records 
  • The release/withdrawal paper from your child’s previous school 
  • Your child’s last report card from their previous school
  • Legal documents such as guardianship, adoption, custody, name changes, Power of Attorney, etc., if applicable

An online registration system is available to enroll students for the upcoming school year. The system allows for the enrollment of new students who were not enrolled at a public or charter school the previous year. Student enrollment forms and required documents will still be accepted by mail. Parents and guardians please contact the school for office hours and additional instructions. For student transfers and withdrawals that need to be addressed with our school, please call 808-821-4460.
