In alignment with Gov. Josh Green’s directive and guidance from the Hawaiʻi State Department of Education, all Kauaʻi, Oʻahu and Maui County public schools including Kapa’a Middle School will be closed on Friday, March 13, due to current severe weather conditions.
What this means:
- There will be no in-person classes on Friday.
- Students should not report to campus.
- Staff are not expected to report to campus unless specifically directed by their supervisor.
At this time, the closure applies only to Friday, March 13. As a reminder, spring break is scheduled next week from March 16–20. Schools are expected to resume as scheduled on Monday, March 23 unless otherwise communicated through official school and department communication channels.
