School Profile

Kapa'a Middle School (KMS) is a public school located on the east side of Kaua'i. It is situated atop a plateau on an 18-acre parcel of land. The school overlooks the southern end of Kapa'a town and is bordered by agricultural/residential lands. The school services students living from the boundaries of the Wailua River Bridge, the Kawaihau District and to the Hanalei District (end of the road in Haena). A total of five elementary schools feed into KMS: King Kaumuali'i, Kapa'a Elementary and Wilcox students enter in 6th grade; and Hanalei and Kilauea students enter in 6th or 7th grade. There are approximately 620 students that attend KMS.
