A Parent Workshop presentation on Emerging Technologies and Social Networking:
NOVEMBER 29, 2017
5:30 P.M. – 7:30 P.M.

Please click on this post to view the flyer and RSVP

Emerging technologies like Web 2.0 and social networking sites are altering the ways we communicate and changing our ideas of privacy. Adolescents, teens and adults can benefit from a frank discussion about the characteristics of the Internet, emerging technologies, and the unintended consequences of their online behavior. The “Hidden Exam” looks at the culture of branding through a historic lens, examines how modern tools create permanent marks in virtual space and explores how online content reveal student competence, character, and social capital. The “Hidden Exam” then explores how these traits of the Internet are seen by college admissions offices and potentially impact college admissions.

Parent, Teacher & Student Conferences

Conferences are happening in the Library from November 20th through December 1st. Students will be released from school early at 1:15 PM.
If you were unable to schedule a conference during this window, not to worry! Please contact your child's counselor and we will schedule a conference meeting for another date.
